JL Audio 10W6v3 sealed down fire enclosure for a dual 10-inch driver: 1.16 cu ft net, Qtc 0.797, F3 42.1 Hz.
At Qtc 0.797 there is a small rise just above the roll-off, which most people hear as punch on kick drums without the box getting bigger.
Firing into the floor adds boundary loading, so in the vehicle it plays deeper than the anechoic figure suggests.
The driver faces the floor, so luggage cannot reach the cone and the top stays flat for cargo.
Listed construction: 3/4-inch MDF, with a doubled 1.5-inch front baffle, dado and V-groove panel joints, black carpet, polyfill installed, pre-wired terminal cup.
Your subwoofer's mounting depth needs to be 6.89 inches or less. Each driver gets its own sealed chamber. The published figures assume the dual 4 ohm versions of the driver. Send us your subwoofer model and we will check it against this box before you order.
