Apex Sound Customs builds custom subwoofer boxes and sells ready-made enclosures and subwoofers. Every box starts with the same two questions: what does your sub need, and how much space do you have?
The spec sheet comes first
A subwoofer is designed around a certain amount of air. Its spec sheet gives the recommended box volume, the tuning range for a ported box, the mounting depth and the displacement. A custom box from us starts from those numbers, then takes the shape of your space.
If the sub and the space are a bad match, we say so before anything is cut and suggest a sub or a box that will work.
