Wavtech thinPRO12 ported shallow down fire enclosure for a single 12-inch driver: 1.49 cu ft net, tuned to 34.5 Hz, 23.4 sq in of port, F3 29.7 Hz.

Around 34.5 Hz the port does most of the work and output climbs several decibels over the same driver sealed. Below 34.5 Hz the cone is no longer loaded, so set a subsonic filter a few hertz under it.

With 23.4 square inches of port, air speed stays low enough that the port should stay quiet at high volume.

The driver faces the floor, so luggage cannot reach the cone and the top stays flat for cargo. It is built shallow for tight spaces, so check the mounting depth figure below against your driver.

Listed construction: 3/4-inch MDF, with a doubled 1.5-inch front baffle, dado and V-groove panel joints, polyfill installed, terminal cup.
